Blogger Post Assigment Module 1

 In general, my thoughts on using technology in the classroom at any age are that I think it's a good thing. Having technology in class can make lessons easier to teach and get across to students. For example, being able to show how to do something for someone who might not understand when you say how to do it but showing how to do it. Do I believe technology is positive or negative in education? I think it can have a negative and positive effect. Negative by being distracted by something say the teacher is teaching and you are on your phone or laptop I think that it could be negative because you are using it in a way that is not helpful for you. I also think that it could be used positively in the classroom being able to show videos for lessons and having a visual for the lesson. Could also be used in a fun way for learning there are multiple learning games that you could play that could help you in class and study. What are my thoughts on the generations of students that will be future students and the way that they learn? I think that the future generation of students will bring a lot of new and exciting opportunities to education. 

Based on the technology self-assessment survey three areas that I could improve my abilities on are. Google hangouts, MS teams, and Google sheets. How competent do you believe you are to teach in a technology-rich environment. I don't think I am the best person to teach in a technology-rich environment but if I learn how to do something I think it could be easier. What other opportunities would you search for to become even more proficient in the use of technology in the classroom? Workshops, Online tutorials, Experimenting and Feedback. How would I go about improving in these areas? Research, Experimenting, Seeking feedback, and Reflect and Adjusting.
